O’Melveny, a leading law firm, is currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced associate to join our Public Company Advisory group in the Capital Markets practice. This is a great opportunity for a fourth or fifth year associate to work with a diverse range of public company clients and gain valuable experience in securities law compliance, disclosure, and corporate governance matters.

As a member of our Public Company Advisory group, you will have the chance to work closely with experienced attorneys and assist with day-to-day securities law counseling, SEC reporting, and corporate governance matters for our growing public company client base. Our clients come from various industries, including technology, healthcare, life sciences, real estate, retail, and consumer services. They range from well-established Fortune 500 companies to emerging growth and smaller reporting companies.

In addition to working on the compliance and advisory aspects of the practice, this position also offers opportunities to be involved in the transactional elements, such as capital markets offerings, for our public company clients. We are looking for a candidate with superior academic credentials, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of the securities laws. A demonstrated interest in public company compliance and corporate governance is also preferred.

The salary range for this role in Newport Beach is $250,000 - $295,000. The actual compensation offered will be based on various factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location.
