Responsibilities:

- Administer the estate settlement process for clients who have passed away
- Collaborate with staff at all levels of the firm and welcome high-net-worth individuals and families as clients
- Perform and monitor most aspects of the estate-settlement process, including probate administration
- Identify and collect assets owned by the decedent, value them, and settle any debts and claims
- Understand fiduciary and trust accounting systems
- Facilitate account opening, closing, and transfer processes
- Communicate with internal and external clients and vendors
- Manage daily transactions and prepare receipts and disbursements
- Partner with Trust Officer and other advisors when necessary
- Share best practices and participate in team meetings and process improvement
- Build relationships internally and externally

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of relevant experience in estate settlement, probate administration, trust administration, financial planning, or estate planning
- Paralegal experience preferred but not required
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
- Actively advancing technical skills in the Trust Industry and Financial Services Industry
