Duties:

• Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including hearings, trials, depositions, and arbitrations.
• Prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Provide sound legal advice to clients in insurance defense cases.
• Conduct research and analyze legal issues related to case law and statutes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members on complex cases.
• Manage a caseload and maintain organized case files.
• Attend and participate in client meetings, as well as settlement discussions.
• Assist with developing strategies to resolve legal matters effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in litigation, particularly in insurance defense or related areas.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Proven track record of managing and executing legal matters from start to finish.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in California.
