Privacy Cybersecurity Attorney

Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Associate or Senior Counsel with at least five years' experience specifically handling privacy and cybersecurity issues to help grow its Privacy and Cybersecurity Practice Group. The attorney can be located in any of our offices.



## Qualifications

**Excellent academic credentials**

**At least 5 years' experience handling privacy and cybersecurity issues**

**Privacy professional certification preferred but not required**

**Passion for staying up to date about the latest technology driven privacy and cybersecurity issues and trends**

**Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices as the position evolves and Firm needs change**

**Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines**

**Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team**

**Ability to develop relationships and foster teamwork at all levels of the Firm**

**Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff**

**Excellent oral and written communication skills**

**Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive situations with tact and discretion**

**Excellent drafting and negotiation skills**

**Ability and confidence to identify and analyze issues, make decisions, and initiate actions/solutions**

The starting salary for associate positions in our Denver office is $190,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Associates are eligible to participate in Michael Best’s associate bonus program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the firm's 401k plan.
