A law firm is currently seeking a Healthcare Attorney for a position located in Santa Barbara, CA.
Job Overview:
The Healthcare Attorney will provide legal counsel and support to the law firm's clients in the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of quality healthcare experience, with a preference for expertise in healthcare compliance. Admission to practice law in California and/or Arizona is ideal, but admission in other states may be considered.
Duties:
- Provide legal advice and representation to healthcare clients on various legal matters.
- Stay abreast of changes in healthcare laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to healthcare services.
- Conduct legal research on healthcare issues and provide guidance based on findings.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address legal concerns.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare law.
- Preferred experience in healthcare compliance.
- Admission to practice law in California and/or Arizona (admission in other states may be considered).
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Any relevant certifications in healthcare law or compliance are a plus.
