Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills are required for this role. The Associate should also possess excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Associate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and advice to employers on labor and employment issues, conducting witness interviews and investigations, drafting position statements and employee handbooks, preparing employment and separation agreements, and managing employment-related litigation. The Associate will also have the opportunity to attend teambuilding events and occasionally work in the office. The salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, and the office location is flexible (with a preference for Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, or West Palm Beach). Remote work is available, but Associates may be asked to work in the office on occasion. The candidate must possess a and be a member of The Florida Bar.
