A law firm in Visalia, CA, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its business law and estate planning practice. The ideal candidate will have a background in business law and estate planning, with a focus on providing high-quality legal services to clients in these areas.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in business law matters, including corporate formation, governance, and contract negotiation.
  • Assist clients with estate planning, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Handle probate and trust administration matters, including managing estates and resolving disputes.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda and reports on business law and estate planning issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials, related to business and estate planning matters.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication.
  • Stay current on legal developments and changes in business law and estate planning.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar (California preferred).
  • Experience or strong interest in business law and estate planning.
  • Knowledge of business law, estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Effective communication and client service abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the California State Bar (preferred).
