Job Description:

Crowe is seeking a highly experienced Tax Partner to join their Federal Tax practice in Tampa. This role will involve providing consulting and compliance services to complex public and private corporate businesses and their owners, as well as leading and managing growth, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with other Partners and clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of corporate taxation and private equity, as well as strong leadership, networking, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership and tax technical expertise for consulting and compliance engagements involving complex partnership, S corporation and C corporations
- Attract and retain appropriate tax clientele
- Build an active network of business contacts and referral sources in the local market
- Lead client service teams and multiple projects in a fast-paced and interactive team environment
- Develop managers and staff and serve as a role model through coaching, mentoring, and training
- Collaborate with the assurance practice on financial statement tax reporting issues
- Stay up-to-date on new developments and the firm’s standards and policies
- Integrate and leverage firmwide thought leadership efforts to develop the market for tax services

Qualifications:

- required
- 12+ years of experience in public accounting with a Big 4 firm, national CPA firm, or large regional accounting firm
- Strong tax technical experience, including complex partnership, S corporation, and C corporation planning and compliance
- Bilingualism is a plus
- Experience reviewing tax returns for public and private businesses in various industries
- Leadership and team building experience
- Strategic and organizational planning experience
- Sales and marketing experience with proven business development skills
- Ability to work within budgetary and time constraints
