The law firm, Nutter, is currently seeking an experienced Associate or Of Counsel to join their Real Estate Leasing Practice. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in representing both landlords and tenants in commercial real estate leasing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and will work from either the Boston or NYC office.

The Role:

As a Leasing Attorney, you will be responsible for all aspects of commercial real estate leasing, including office, industrial, life sciences, and retail leasing. This will involve working with a variety of clients, both landlords and tenants, and providing top-notch legal services. You will also have the opportunity to work on other real estate matters such as acquisitions, dispositions, zoning, construction, and development and permitting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Represent both landlords and tenants in commercial real estate leasing
- Handle all aspects of leasing, including drafting and negotiating leases, lease amendments, and other related documents
- Work on other real estate matters such as acquisitions, dispositions, zoning, construction, and development and permitting
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Work both independently and in teams to ensure successful outcomes for clients

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial real estate leasing
- Experience with real estate acquisitions, dispositions, zoning, construction, development and permitting is a plus
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated record of client service
