A law firm is seeking a Mid-level to Senior Labor Relations Associate Attorney for their Phoenix office. The Mid-level to Senior Labor Relations Associate Attorney will join the firm's dynamic and long-established practice representing premier local and national employers. The role requires extensive experience in labor law, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, union campaigns, and similar matters.

 

Duties:

  • Represent premier local and national employers in labor-related matters
  • Handle labor arbitrations and unfair labor practice charges
  • Participate in collective bargaining negotiations
  • Provide legal advice and counsel on labor relations issues
  • Assist with union campaigns and related activities
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff on case strategy and preparation

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
  • Outstanding academic record preferred
  • 5+ years of labor law experience, including labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, union campaigns, and similar matters
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
