Job Description:

The Corporate Healthcare Regulatory Associate Attorney will join the nationally recognized healthcare team at Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in healthcare regulatory matters and will be responsible for providing critical guidance to clients on how to achieve their goals. This position can be based in Washington, ., Century City, Chicago, or New York, with the possibility of considering other . offices. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients to provide guidance on regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
• Advise clients on day-to-day compliance, defend government investigations, and assist with litigation and strategic transactions.
• Receive guidance and mentorship from partners, with opportunities for career progression and training.
• Gain experience in healthcare-specific regulatory frameworks and industry knowledge.
• Develop relationships with clients and further career goals.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in healthcare regulatory matters.
• Familiarity with key healthcare regulatory requirements, such as the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Experience in HIPPA, healthcare privacy, data breach, Knox-Keene, digital health, telehealth, healthcare technology transactions, ACOs, and/or Medicare Direct Contracting Enterprise program is a plus.
• Excellent communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate directly with clients.
• Admitted to the bar in the state of application.
• Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Salary Information:

The salary range for this position is $310,000 - $435,000.
