PwC's Partnership Allocation and Reporting Solutions practice is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to join our team. As part of PwC's Tax Services, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and manage their tax obligations in various specialties. Our team specializes in providing tax consulting, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions to help clients access capital markets and enhance their partnership structures.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager at PwC, you will work as part of a team to solve complex business issues, from strategy to execution. Your responsibilities will include:

- Encouraging all team members to have a voice and invite opinions from everyone, including quieter team members
- Effectively dealing with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations
- Initiating open and candid coaching conversations at all levels
- Easily transitioning between big picture thinking and managing relevant details
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions, even before they are required
- Contributing technical knowledge in your area of expertise
- Fostering an environment where people and technology work together to achieve more
- Navigating the complexities of cross-border and diverse teams and engagements
- Initiating and leading open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax-related roles
- CPA or Member of the Bar certification

Preferred Qualifications:

- Intimate knowledge of partnership structures and related transactions, such as M&A, IPOs, and spinoffs
- Experience with interpreting and applying relevant aspects of the US Tax Code, such as sections 704(b), 704(c), 707, 751, 734, and 743(b)
- Proven success in providing specialized tax consulting and compliance for publicly traded partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other private partnerships
- Experience with preparing Form 1065 and K-1, creating and leveraging complex spreadsheets and data analytic tools, and writing and communicating effectively with all levels of stakeholders
- Ability to identify and address client needs, actively participate in client discussions and meetings, and balance project economics management with unexpected issues
- Experience in business development and familiarity with CRM systems
- Knowledge of automation and digitization, and the ability to lead by example in a professional services environment
- Familiarity with pricing tools and the ability to influence a shift to alternative fee arrangements
