Salary Range: $250,000 - $370,000

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Baker Botts . is currently seeking a Project Finance Associate with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our Global Projects practice area.

As a Project Finance Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile projects, including renewable energy and conventional power projects. In addition to your project finance experience, we are also looking for candidates with a background in project development and M&A. This is a dynamic and challenging role that will allow you to grow and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
- Work on project finance transactions, including renewable energy and conventional power projects.
- Provide legal advice and support to clients on project development and M&A activities.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and teams within the firm to deliver high-quality and timely services to clients.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in project finance and energy law.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 to 6 years of experience in project finance, preferably with a focus on renewable and conventional power projects.
- Strong background in debt finance.
- Experience with project development and M&A is a plus.
- Excellent academic credentials from a top-tier law school.
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Texas or New York.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
