With offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Greensboro, Greenville, Miami, Raleigh, Washington ., and West Palm Beach, this is a unique opportunity to work in various locations and gain diverse experience in tax controversy matters.

Job Title: Tax Controversy Associate
Job Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3-5 years of tax litigation experience
Location: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Greensboro, NC; Greenville, SC; Miami, FL; Raleigh, NC; Washington, DC; West Palm Beach, FL

Role and Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in tax court proceedings
- Handle civil and criminal tax controversy matters
- Work on whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis to support cases
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on complex cases

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate (JD) and LLM in Taxation required
- Must be licensed to practice in the state where the office resides
- Strong academic record and analytical skills
- Experience with tax court proceedings is required
- Experience with whistleblower claims and voluntary offshore disclosures is preferred
