Job Title: Managed Care Litigation Associate (Mid-to-Senior-Level)

Experience: 3-7 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration. Managed care or health care experience is required.

Department: Litigation - Global Commercial Disputes

Location: Multiple locations (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Century City)

Job Description:

- Represent leading managed care companies in the United States in a wide range of cutting-edge matters, including litigation, class actions, compliance, regulatory work, false claims act cases, government programs, and governmental investigations.
- Handle multiple cases and/or manage regulatory or compliance matters.
- Serve as the point person on litigation and/or counseling, including coordinating with other associates and staff and acting as client contact.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and attend court hearings.
- Collaborate with a team of highly skilled attorneys and staff to provide top-notch legal services to clients.
- Stay updated on industry developments and trends to effectively advise clients.
- Strong emphasis on case management and client counseling.
- Excellent academic credentials and strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills required.

Qualifications:

- 3-7 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration.
- Experience in managed care or health care is required.
- Strong academic credentials and writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple cases and/or manage regulatory or compliance matters.
- Previous experience serving as the point person on litigation and/or counseling preferred.
- Significant case management and/or client counseling experience preferred.
- Must be licensed to practice law in California.
