JOB SUMMARY
Law firm is looking for an experienced Litigation Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering or life sciences, as well as 2-4 years of IP litigation experience. The Litigation Associate will represent clients in trademark, copyright, trade secret, patent and inventorship disputes before . courts, in arbitral proceedings, in the International Trade Commission, and in the . Patent and Trademark Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with all aspects of litigation including case strategy, drafting pleadings, advising clients, taking and defending depositions, and arguing motions
• Manage and direct the activities of outside counsel, paralegals, and other support staff
• Analyze and evaluate complex legal issues, identify potential areas of risk, and provide guidance to the firm’s clients
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-4 years of IP litigation experience
• Degree in engineering or life sciences
• Strong academic credentials
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a professional office environment. The firm currently operates on a hybrid work schedule, but we encourage regularly scheduled presence in the office environment, as we believe this to be an important and expected component of this position.

SALARY
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
