Job Description:

- Review foreclosure referrals and loan documents
- Identify minor title issues from title searches
- Prepare assignments for execution and recording
- Research and prepare probate related pleadings, if applicable
- File complaints with courts
- Act as liaison with sheriffs or constables for service of documents
- Monitor completion of service
- Receive and monitor matters entered in State Mediation program
- File for judgment or submit documents to courts
- Draft notices of sale and review publications
- Monitor sale process
- Review bid instructions and prepare auction package
- Prepare foreclosure deed and supporting documents
- Monitor and update lender/servicer websites for compliance

Position Requirements:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of legal language, principles, research methods, court pleadings and processes
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and good judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years working experience as a paralegal
