# Insurance Defense Litigation Associate - Law Firm Miami or Ft Lauderdale

Law Firm is looking for an Insurance Defense Litigation Associate to join their South Florida offices in either Miami or Fort Lauderdale. The ideal candidate should have experience in litigating first-party property damage insurance claims and demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

## Job Requirements

- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to manage and prioritize caseloads
- Ability to handle complex matters
- Legal research
- Experience with pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Experience with depositions and examinations under oath
- Ability to render opinions on liability, damages and the value of a case
- Experience with general commercial litigation is a plus

- Ability to travel as required for trials, hearings, depositions, and re-inspections
