A law firm in San Diego is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney with a strong interest in working on behalf of public agencies. Administrative hearing experience is a plus. The candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, as well as strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to public agencies in labor and employment matters.
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in administrative hearings and other proceedings.
  • Advise clients on compliance with labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on changes and developments in labor and employment law.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
  • Strong interest in labor and employment law and working with public agencies.
  • Administrative hearing experience is a plus.
