Law Firm is searching for an experienced Education & Municipal Law Attorney to join their team in either Grand Rapids, MI or Lansing, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience representing public schools and other educational institutions. Job Responsibilities: - Represent public schools and other educational institutions in matters of Education & Municipal Law - Provide advice and counsel to clients on a variety of legal matters - Draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents - Assist in the development of policies and procedures - Research and analyze legal issues - Prepare and present oral and written arguments - Attend and participate in court proceedings Qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - Admission to practice law in the State of Michigan or eligible for admission without examination - Strong research and writing skills - Ability to think strategically and creatively - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Detail-oriented and organized - Solid work ethic Salary and Benefits: Law Firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) match, and paid time off.
