The Environmental Associate or Partner will join our Environmental Law and Government Contracting Department and will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation in a variety of environmental and government contracting matters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with regulatory and permitting issues and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Job Summary Law Firm is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Environmental Associate or Partner with at least six years’ working experience in the areas of environmental law, government contracting, and business regulation. The successful candidate will join the Environmental Law and Government Contracting Department and will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation in a variety of environmental and government contracting matters. Job Responsibilities • Provide legal advice and representation in a variety of environmental and government contracting matters • Handle regulatory and permitting issues • Assist in the preparation and review of contracts and other legal documents • Advise clients on compliance with environmental laws and regulations • Monitor and analyze changes in environmental and government contracting laws • Represent clients in litigation and other legal proceedings • Develop and maintain client relationships Qualifications • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school • 6+ years of experience in environmental law, government contracting, and/or business regulation • Admitted to practice in the state of the primary office location • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and research skills Salary The salary for the Environmental Associate or Partner position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
