Patent Prosecution Associate (Biological Sciences) The candidate Should have 1 year of substantive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent validity, non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate analyses, and supporting IP due diligences, patent litigations, post-grant proceedings (IPR, PGR, interferences) and other IP matters in the life sciences related to cutting-edge technologies, such as gene editing, cellular therapies, antibody-based therapeutics, and molecular diagnostics. Qualified candidates must have an advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred, or M.S. with several years industry experience) in the biological sciences (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Virology), be registered to practice at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and be admitted to a State Bar (Georgia, preferred).
