Ropers Majeski, a prestigious law firm with offices throughout the United States and internationally, is seeking a Technology and Business Litigation Attorney to join our growing and dynamic team in the Bay Area. Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced attorney with a minimum of eight years of solid litigation experience, specifically in the areas of product liability, trademarks, trade dress, patents, copyrights, and related matters. The ideal candidate will also have demonstrated experience in the technology sector, particularly in intellectual property litigation. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in any of our Bay Area offices.

Responsibilities

As a Technology and Business Litigation Attorney at Ropers Majeski, you will be responsible for representing high-technology clients in intellectual property litigation and assisting clients in navigating business challenges and other high-exposure litigation matters. Your duties will include handling litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing. Second-chair trial experience and familiarity with both state and federal court proceedings are also required.

Skills and Educational Requirements

- JD Degree
- Minimum of eight years of solid experience working on litigation matters involving product liability, trademarks, trade dress, patents, copyrights, and related matters
- Demonstrated experience in the technology sector working on intellectual property litigation
- Ability to handle litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
- Second-chair trial experience
- Experience with both state and federal court proceedings
- Current CA Bar admission in good standing is required
