A growing litigation boutique is seeking a highly skilled Senior Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-5 years of experience in handling business and real estate disputes. This position offers the opportunity to work on right-sized cases from inception through trial. The ideal candidate will have excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills, along with the ability to handle complex litigation matters independently. Duties

  • Independently handle business and real estate litigation cases from inception through trial.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic guidance on complex legal matters.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on various litigation matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and ensure client success.
  • Manage caseloads efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality work.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years of experience in business and real estate litigation.
  • Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Experience with depositions and trial preparation.
  • Ability to independently manage cases from inception through trial.
  • Prior training or experience at a major law firm or trial-intensive firm is preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Bar License in the state of California (required).

Skills

  • Expertise in business and real estate litigation.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to independently manage litigation cases and trial preparation.
  • Deposition experience is a must.
