Global Technology Legal Director and Associate General Counsel
The candidate will serve in the position of Technology Legal Director. Primarily support and counsel to the IT and Legal Affairs organizations on technology-related matters and initiatives. Draft, review and negotiate a variety of technology contracts (. IT and Cybersecurity Transition Services, SaaS, Licensing, IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Professional Services Agreements), ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. For technology contracts and related matters, advise on data privacy and security issues, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and teams to assess legal risks and provide strategic counsel on technology initiatives. Stay abreast of emerging legal trends in technology, contributing to the development of company information policies and practices. Manage and resolve technology-related disputes, working closely with key stakeholders and external counsel when necessary. Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making on technology-related projects. Assist in the development and delivery of training programs to educated in-house personnel on technology legal matters. Coordinate with the Sourcing organization and Sourcing counsels on strategic IT sourcing initiatives. Create and provide training on data protection playbooks, guidelines and self-service tools.

Qualification and Experience The candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited law school and active Bar membership. Must have 8+ years of experience with a focus on technology law in a private, public, government or military environment. Should have 5+ years of experience negotiating complex global technology contracts. Strong negotiation and drafting skills are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are needed. German language fluency is essential. Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures is a must. Should have an understanding of and experience in advising clients in a diversified business environment.
