A leading California-based litigation firm specializing in Lemon Law is seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its team. This position involves advocating for consumers against car manufacturers and dealers, managing various phases of litigation, and working with senior attorneys to develop aggressive, discovery-driven ;

Duties

  • Draft written discovery, review responses, and participate in e-discovery document review.
  • Prepare and argue motions related to discovery disputes, summary judgment, and other legal challenges.
  • Defend depositions of consumer clients and conduct depositions of witnesses, corporate representatives, and expert witnesses.
  • Participate in vehicle inspections alongside expert witnesses.
  • Ensure timely reporting and billing of hours worked.
  • Collaborate on trial preparation and handle additional tasks as assigned by Partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the California Bar.
  • Strong interest in consumer protection and legal advocacy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in California.

Skills

  • Strong legal research, drafting, and oral argument skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and case management abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel within California for court appearances, depositions, and inspections.
