## Qualifications

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the patent preparation and prosecution area
- Currently licensed to practice law in Wisconsin
- Registered to practice before the . Patent and Trademark Office
- Detail-oriented, organized, possess a solid work ethic, and have strong academic credentials
- Background in or technical expertise relating to Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or Physics, are preferred

## Responsibilities

- Directly work on patent preparation and prosecution matters
- New patent applications
- Responding to . Patent Office actions
- Directing . associates in regard to . patent matters
- Patent-related counseling, opinions, agreements
- Providing support in regard to patent litigation matters or matters involving the Patent Trial and Appeal Board
