**Job Description**

As a Business Attorney at Appel, Yost & Zee LLP, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and counsel to clients on business and transactional law matters. You will be expected to stay abreast of developments in the legal field and provide strategic advice to clients. You will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.

**Responsibilities**

- Draft and negotiate legal documents and contracts
- Research and analyze legal issues
- Provide advice and counsel to clients on business and transactional law matters
- Monitor changes in the legal field
- Keep up to date with developments in the legal field
- Prepare legal memoranda and briefs
- Represent clients in court or in other legal proceedings
- Maintain client files and other documentation

**Qualifications**

- A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- A minimum of two to five years of experience in business counseling, commercial transactions, mergers, and acquisitions
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
