Job Overview:
A leading national law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Partner to join its Oakland office. This role is ideal for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in defense litigation, including Labor & Employment, Commercial Litigation, General Liability, and/or CGL. The firm offers a flexible work environment, including hybrid or remote work options, with the possibility of working from any office location in states where the firm is licensed. Location:
Duties:
- Lead and manage defense litigation in Labor & Employment, Commercial Litigation, General Liability, and/or CGL
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff
- Develop and implement litigation strategies
- Engage in client development and business generation activities
- Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys to deliver high-quality legal services
- Maintain and grow client relationships
- Provide leadership in the firm’s practice areas and contribute to firm-wide initiatives
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in defense litigation, preferably in Labor & Employment, Commercial Litigation, and/or General Liability
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Proven experience in managing complex litigation matters
- Strong client development and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Education:
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
- Admitted to practice in California
