Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its dynamic litigation team. This full-time, partnership-track position involves handling complex litigation cases, including class actions, product liability, mass tort, and toxic tort litigation. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional academic credentials, dedication to client service, and a willingness to engage in pro bono work.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of litigation matters, focusing on class actions, product liability, mass tort, and toxic tort cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and experts to prepare for case proceedings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation (class of 2019–2021).
• Strong experience in class actions, product liability, mass tort, and/or toxic tort litigation.
• Membership in the California Bar is mandatory.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent client service and meeting deadlines.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic performance.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and analytical abilities.
• Strong drafting and writing skills for pleadings and legal arguments.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
