Law firm Shumaker is seeking an experienced Insurance Recovery Attorney to join their growing team. This position is responsible for representing policyholders in insurance recovery matters and managing all aspects of the process. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in this field.

Job Description:

Location: Any of the following offices: Akron, Columbus or Toledo, Ohio; Tampa, Florida; Charlotte, North Carolina or Charleston, South Carolina.

Experience: 5+ years of experience representing policyholders for a wide range of insurance policies, as well as managing all aspects of the insurance recovery process.

Job Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
- Valid bar license for the state in which candidate will work out of
- 5+ years’ law practice experience
- Strong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologies
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the Internet
- Superior organizational skills
- Project management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
