This position offers the opportunity to lead support staff and provide legal support services for multiple Medicaid states, enterprise-wide functions, and/or complex litigation. The ideal candidate will have a background in Medicaid or other government programs, good organizational skills, and attention to detail. Responsibilities include conducting legal research and analysis, preparing legal documentation, and attending legal proceedings. The Legal Specialist Sr. will also monitor state and federal legislation affecting the corporation and participate in negotiations and strategizing with business and staff. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model, with remote work options available. Candidates must live within a 50-mile or 1-hour commute of a relevant Elevance Health location.
