Law Firm Seeking Detail-Oriented Associate for Estate Planning and Probate Practice

The law firm, Barnes Walker, is seeking a detail-oriented associate to join their growing practice in Bradenton/Sarasota. This position will focus on estate planning, probate, and trust administration. The ideal candidate will be a member of the Florida Bar with excellent legal research and writing skills, a strong work ethic, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Attend hearings and trials when necessary
- Work closely with senior attorneys and staff to ensure efficient and effective case management
- Keep up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations related to estate planning and probate

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree and membership in the Florida Bar
- 2-5 years of experience in estate planning and probate preferred
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
