Law Firm Seeking Counsel with Labor & Employment Experience in California

Job Title: Counsel - Labor & Employment
Location: Sacramento, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Torrance, Costa Mesa, San Diego, California

Position Summary:
- Law firm seeking experienced litigator for flexible role in California offices
- Opportunity for remote work without administrative and client-development demands
- Focus on efficient and effective legal work with lower billable hours target

Responsibilities:
- Defend employers in employment litigation, primarily single/multi-plaintiff lawsuits
- Develop defense strategy, draft pleadings, manage discovery, and take/defend depositions
- May also argue motions, participate in mediation or trial as needed

Requirements:
- Active and in good standing California law license
- Minimum of 5 years experience in employment litigation
- Strong analytical and writing skills, organization, and dedication to client service
- Self-motivated, accountable, and responsive in remote work environment
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Salary Range: $175,000 - $180,000
