The candidate should preferably have 4-5 years of energy transactional and/or regulatory litigation and compliance experience. Should ideally have experience handling regulatory and compliance matters before the Texas Public Utility Commission and other state energy regulatory commissions, as well as matters before or involving the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) or other ISO/RTOs or organized power markets. Experience involving advocacy before state utility commissions, or involving power transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, power sales, and related matters, would be beneficial. Must have a strong academic record. Should have an active Bar license in WI or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.
