**Responsibilities:**

- Represent clients in a variety of medical negligence and wrongful death defense cases
- Represent providers during investigations by professional boards
- Research and analyze legal issues
- Draft and review motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal documents
- Appear in court and argue cases
- Prepare for and attend mediations and trials
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients

**Qualifications:**

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- A minimum of 10 years of general litigation and medical negligence defense experience
- Experience representing providers during investigations by professional boards
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong writing, communication and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel and assume trial responsibilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
