  • Conduct due diligence in mergers and acquisitions involving employee benefits plans.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including plan documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, administrative proceedings, and litigation related to employee benefits issues.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits law.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee benefits laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, due diligence, and transactional matters is preferred.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
