Responsibilities:

- Use legal expertise and strategic insight to assist clients in obtaining entitlements, permits, and approvals for complex and sensitive projects
- Collaborate with developers, property owners, investors, public agencies, and nonprofits
- Stay informed on land use issues and trends and help shape the communities we serve
- Handle matters related to land use, administrative law, zoning, affordable housing, and environmental regulations such as CEQA and the California Coastal Act

Requirements:

- Three to five years of solid land use experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent legal research and analytical abilities
- Proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently and develop creative solutions
- Active membership in the California Bar

Compensation and Benefits:

- Base annual pay range: $250,000 - $345,000
- Additional benefits such as medical, financial, and more based on position and location
- Opportunities for growth and advancement within the firm
