A law firm is currently seeking an Attorney for its Saint Louis office, specializing in workers' compensation defense. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 0-10 years of workers' compensation defense experience. The Attorney will be responsible for handling workers' compensation defense cases, representing employers and insurance carriers in legal proceedings related to workplace injury claims. The role involves providing legal counsel, conducting investigations, and advocating on behalf of clients in workers' compensation matters.

Duties:

• Specialize in workers' compensation defense.
• Represent employers and insurance carriers in legal proceedings related to workplace injury claims.
• Conduct legal research and analysis specific to workers' compensation cases.
• Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and defense tactics.
• Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
• Attend workers' compensation hearings, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
• Provide legal advice to clients regarding risk management and compliance.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of specific experience in workers' compensation defense.
