Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, bilingual legal assistant to join our growing law firm in Glendale, Arizona. Our firm specializes in family-based immigration and removal defense, and we are looking for a passionate individual who shares our core values of helping people . This intermediate-level position involves managing client intake, completing immigration forms, and providing case updates to clients under moderate supervision. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of experience in family-based petitions and removal defense, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct client intake interviews and gather comprehensive information for immigration cases
- Independently complete various immigration forms with high accuracy
- Organize and maintain client files with attention to detail
- Translate basic legal documents as needed
- Provide regular updates to clients on the status of their cases
- Collaborate with attorneys in preparing legal documents
- Schedule appointments, hearings, and meetings to manage workflow effectively

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of experience as an immigration legal assistant
- Familiarity with family-based petitions and removal defense, including VAWA, U Visa, T Visa, AOS, CP, PIP, I-751, I-90, DACA, NATZ, waivers, EADs, Senate advocacy, CFI, bond, 42b, asylum, BIA, 9th Cir. advocacy, and more
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail, including grammar and spelling
- Organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Customer service experience
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Collaboration and teamwork skills
- Professionalism and a strong work ethic
