San Gabriel office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks personal injury attorney with 1-2 years of experience. The candidate will be responsible for providing injured claimants with the legal advice, guidance and representation required to successfully win compensation. Will be responsible for handling the case from filing the lawsuit to preparing the matter for trial and all litigation activities in between, with the opportunity for trial experience. Prepare and formulate strategy for litigation pleading, discovery, attend trials, hearings, depositions, mediations, and other case-related meetings. Review and supervise the preparation of pleadings, discovery, motions, court orders, demand packages, and other case-related documents. Consistent and timely reading of all case documents, including medical/billing records. Negotiate settlements for personal injury cases. Must be in good standing with the California Bar Association. Should have a thorough knowledge of the California Discovery Act, including all aspects of discovery and law and motion. Working knowledge of Personal Injury laws and procedures needed. Should have excellent hands-on computer skills. Must be familiar with case management software, Microsoft Word Suite, Adobe Pro, and other legal technology.
