The Position:
The Senior Cyber Security Attorney will play a crucial role in the firm's rapid response team for data breaches and other significant cyber incidents. This is a leadership position, and the attorney will have the opportunity to work with a team of experienced professionals in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of legal experience and 2 years of experience in data privacy and security. They should have a strong knowledge of data breach and privacy laws, such as HIPAA, GLBA, FERPA, CCPA, and GDPR. An IT or technical background is a plus, and the candidate should possess excellent research, writing, and communication skills. They should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.

Responsibilities:
The Senior Cyber Security Attorney will be responsible for incident response for cybersecurity and data privacy incidents. They will also take the lead in responding to clients and carriers and oversee the work of Associates. Other responsibilities include analyzing state, federal, and international privacy laws, drafting legal notices of a data breach, responding to regulatory investigations, defending privacy lawsuits, and drafting privacy and security policies and procedures.
