Location:
Duties:
- Handle all aspects of litigation from case inception through to resolution
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Provide legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters
- Stay updated on changes in the law and emerging legal trends
- Manage case files and deadlines efficiently
- Collaborate with team members on case strategies and best practices
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of California
- Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on litigation
- Experience in personal injury and/or criminal defense law preferred
- Proficient in legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members
- Legal administrative experience is a plus
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Active membership in the California State Bar
Skills:
- Strong litigation and trial experience
