H2: Job Description

Our law firm is looking for an Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate should have at least one year to two years of law firm experience and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe. They should also possess excellent writing and proofreading skills, with superb attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

Assist with drafting estate planning documents and deeds
Scheduling appointments for attorneys
Assist with preparing and filing documents with state courts
Administrative tasks including filing, organizing, answering phone calls, printing, and scanning documents
Communicating with clients
Proof-reading documents
Maintaining client files for active cases

Qualifications:

At least one year to two years of law firm experience
Highly motivated fast learner who is able to work without constant supervision
Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
Experience in estate planning highly preferred
Excellent writing and proofreading skills, with superb attention to detail
Excellent verbal and listening skills
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Adobe required
Experience with CLIO preferred

H2: Compensation and Benefits

This is a full-time, in office position that offers a competitive salary of between $22-$25/hr DOE. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
