Law Firm is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Associate to join our team in multiple offices across the country. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and analysis related to Intellectual Property law
Draft and file patent applications
Manage patent prosecution and respond to office actions
Advise clients on patent infringement and validity issues
Prepare and negotiate licensing agreements
Conduct due diligence and assist with IP-related transactions
Keep up-to-date with changes in IP laws and regulations



Requirements:

degree from an accredited law school
Admitted to practice law in the state where the office is located
2-5 years of experience in Intellectual Property law
USPTO registration
Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or other life science related area required
Advanced degree (MS and/or PhD) preferred
Strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills



Work Environment:
