As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of attorneys and staff, representing clients in a variety of practice areas including professional liability, construction defect, and more. With a minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney, you will have the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in this role.

H2: Essential Job Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a practicing attorney
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- 2-4 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in professional liability or construction defect
- Familiarity with insurance defense matters and billing guidelines
- Admission and good standing with the South Carolina Bar
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads
- Experience handling all aspects of litigation prior to trial, including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, and mediations

H2: Required Education & Professional Licensure

- Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in South Carolina

H2: Preferred Skills

- 2+ years of experience in professional liability or construction defect defense or similar litigation experience
- Ability to work independently and with a team, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of ethical duties and ability to identify risks
- Desire to work effectively with clients and achieve satisfactory outcomes
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
