An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. # Experienced Patent Prosecution Associate Han Santos, PLLC is a local law firm based in Seattle and Washington . and is seeking an experienced patent prosecution associate to join their growing patent prosecution practice. The successful candidate will have at least 4-7 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience and a . and/or . in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a . in Engineering with relevant technical Computer Science or Electrical Engineering work experience. Technical experience with wireless communications or wireless/inductive charging technology is desirable. ## Job Responsibilities: - Conduct patent preparation and prosecution, including drafting patent applications, responding to office actions, and managing prosecution timelines. - Write clearly, concisely, and persuasively to explain technical innovations while applying patent law jurisprudence. - Conduct independent research to quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar technology. - Assist clients with invention harvesting, such as identifying new ideas or potential innovations in their technology sectors that are patentable. - Work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. ## Requirements: - 4-7 years of patent preparation and prosecution experience. - . and/or . in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a . in Engineering with relevant technical Computer Science or Electrical Engineering work experience. - Technical experience with wireless communications or wireless/inductive charging technology is desirable. - Strong technical and legal writing skills. - An ability to conduct independent research to quickly get up to speed on unfamiliar technology. - Experience in invention harvesting, such as assisting clients with identifying new ideas or potential innovations in their technology sectors that are patentable. - A strong sense of self-motivation to meet work product deadlines or complete projects ahead of schedule. - Admission to the USPTO as a registered Patent Attorney or a registered Patent Agent. - An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. ## Compensation and Benefits: Han Santos offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to attract and incentivize performers while offering an alternative to the high production commitment work environments of traditional law firms. ## Location: Candidates must be located in the Seattle or Washington . area.
