As a Litigation Attorney with Kanner & Pintaluga, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases, including auto accidents, premise liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, nursing home abuse, and property damage. Our Litigation Team is highly active and handles cases from pre-suit all the way through trial. You will work closely with a team of legal professionals to support you in your cases and have the chance to try numerous jury trials throughout Florida each year. Our firm has a structured chain of command to support our Trial Attorneys and staff, allowing you to focus on being the best litigator and Trial Attorney you can be. We also prioritize continued education and development, sending our Trial Attorneys to seminars and workshops to improve their trial skills. And with a growing caseload, there is plenty of opportunity for you to expand your skills and knowledge within the industry. We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a guaranteed bonus structure based on a percentage of the fees you obtain. To be considered for this position, you must be a member of the Florida Bar in good standing with at least 5 years of personal injury litigation experience. Trial experience, including serving as First Chair during a trial, is required, as well as general litigation experience, motion practice, fact and expert witness deposition experience, and general discovery practice. Strong communication and people skills are a must, and bilingual abilities are a plus. We also prefer candidates who are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have experience with case management software, such as SmartAdvocate®.
