This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing practice area at a well-respected mid-size Pittsburgh firm. Our experience includes estate and trust planning and administration, will contests, guardianship matters, charitable planning and estate and trust-related litigation. The ideal candidate should have the following responsibilities: Drafting a broad range of estate planning documents including wills, trust agreements and related documents Providing business succession strategies for clients Assisting individuals and families on trust structures and wealth transfer tax matters Assisting in the administration of estates and trusts Preparing and/or reviewing federal estate, gift and fiduciary income tax returns Leading the estates and trusts practice area Supporting the litigation practice in litigation matters related to Wills, Trusts and Estate and Trust Administration issues Qualifications 10+ years of estate planning and estate and trust administration experience is required Knowledge of relevant state and federal tax laws Experience with charitable giving; estate planning for retirement assets; and working with families on tax-efficient family wealth transfer strategies through estate, tax, business succession, and asset protection planning Experience drafting key legal documents for trusts and estates matters is required Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and be in good standing Conscientious and responsive, with a proven attention to detail while working under demanding deadlines Excellent written communication and drafting skills and an ability to produce written product that is concise and effective Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently, but embraces teamwork and works effectively with others who have different styles Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to clearly communicate advice to clients and others Possesses strong analytical skills and thinks strategically Ambitious, exhibits leadership and motivates others Dedicated, with a record of professional success Salary & Benefits This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
