This is a full-time position and the candidate can be based in any of Bodman's offices. As an attorney in the Business Practice Group, the candidate will work closely with other specialists in Bodman's various practice groups to provide comprehensive legal counsel to clients. The role may also involve working as an outside general counsel, collaborating with client principals and in-house counsel. Key Responsibilities: - Provide legal representation to clients for general corporate matters, including drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, handling securities law compliance matters, negotiating investment transactions, and drafting core company governance documents. - Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with colleagues and clients. - Demonstrate a strong commitment to developing and maintaining client relationships. - Stay updated on latest developments in the field of law related to the attorney's practice area. - Assist in training junior associates and support staff within the BPG team.
